Residential Advisor

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Advisor to join our team at Grafton Job Corps Center. As a Residential Advisor, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive and empowering environment for our students. Your primary responsibility will be to mentor and guide students as they navigate their educational journey, fostering a sense of community and promoting personal growth.

• Mentorship: Develop meaningful relationships with students, providing guidance and support in their academic and personal development.
• Community Building: Organize and participate in activities that promote a positive and inclusive living environment, ensuring every student feels a sense of belonging.
• Conflict Resolution: Proactively address conflicts and challenges among students, promoting effective communication and resolution.
• Safety and Well-being: Prioritize the safety and well-being of students, implementing and enforcing policies to create a secure and supportive living environment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support the holistic development of students, collaborating with academic and recreational advisors to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to student success.

We are looking for a candidate with a High School Diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of one-year Job Corps or related program experience. A valid in-State Driver's License is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and other stakeholders.
