We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at StandardAero. As a Quality Control Inspector - Aviation, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our aviation products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of materials and assembly parts to ensure they meet quality control standards and are safe for use.
  • Provide general oversight of the Quality Inspection Team, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and procedures.
  • Perform inspections using approved technical data and FAA best practices.
  • Foster a culture of cooperation and teamwork within the Quality Inspection Team.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
  • Five years' experience as an Aviation Quality Inspector.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondences, and to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, and to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment to effectively navigate difficult issues and aid in process efficiency.
Preferred Characteristics
  • Prior experience acting as an Inspector in a Part 145 MRO under Airframe & Powerplant Certificate.
  • Proficiency in using various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to understand, read, and write English.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
