Salary and Benefits:
We are offering a competitive salary of $52,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus various benefits including medical (HSA/PPO), dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, retirement plan with match, tuition reimbursement, life insurance, flexible spending plan, paid holidays and PTO on Day 1, growth opportunities, and an incentive plan.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all production equipment under the guidance of higher-level production mechanics.
- Communicate effectively with other maintenance employees and production management to ensure seamless operations.
- Complete assigned work orders accurately and document all necessary information.
- Perform technical maintenance tasks under close supervision.
- Assist with process improvements and identify areas for enhancement.
- Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP and HACCP guidelines, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure product quality meets SQF certification standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- One-year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong technical background, particularly in industrial electrical systems.
- Powdered Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification.
- Driver's license.
- Ability to obtain HazMat, Confined Space Entry, and LOTO certifications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in a maintenance occupation in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic understanding of 3-phase electricity and ability to maintain various pumps.
- Working knowledge of motor controllers, low voltage electrical systems, proximity switches, photo-eyes, and variable frequency drives.
- Basic understanding of schematics and blueprints.
- Ability to structurally weld common metals.
