Automotive Technician

Job Description

At Mavis Tire Supply, we're seeking skilled Automotive Technicians to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you'll be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and performing a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and diagnose vehicle issues
• Perform undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, and shocks
• Complete state-mandated inspections
• Change oil and filters, check fluids, and replace worn parts
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires

Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age
• L-legally authorized to work in the United States
• 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance
• Extensive tool box of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs

Preferred Qualifications:

• State inspection license(s)
• ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5)

Work Environment:

As an Automotive Technician, you'll be required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and automotive repair. You'll also regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
