Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively greet and welcome customers throughout the store and department to initiate the shopping experience.
  • Engage customers in conversation, building authentic connections and offering tailored styling advice to meet their needs.
  • Demonstrate selling and service behaviors that develop deep and lasting relationships with customers.
  • Follow up and follow through on customer requests and commitments in a timely manner.
  • Promote store services and handle transactions efficiently.
  • Assist customers across various store areas, including the sales floor and fitting room, to ensure a comprehensive shopping experience.
  • Educate yourself and customers on merchandise, events, promotions, policies, and services to drive loyalty and sales.
  • Drive loyalty by utilizing product knowledge to enhance the customer experience and provide expert styling and brand guidance.
  • Operate as One House by assisting in operational tasks, maintaining a clean and organized selling floor, processing new receipts, cleaning fitting rooms, and returning merchandise to other departments.
  • Ensure audit compliance and Merchandise Protection Standards are met, including will-call, hold policies, and credit compliance.
  • Collaborate with store leaders and peers to achieve goals and foster a positive team environment.
  • Foster an inclusive and belonging culture amongst peers and clients by respecting and adapting to different styles and personalities.
  • Maintain professionalism, adhere to work schedules, and meet personal presentation standards.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Styling experience in luxury fashion or strong knowledge of trends and designer brands with the ability to translate that knowledge into solving customer styling needs.
  • Effective communication skills with experience in creating meaningful connections with customers that build brand loyalty.
  • Ability to move around the sales floor, stockroom, and office, and lift up to 30lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Sales Associate or customer-focused experience (preferred).
  • A hospitality mindset when engaging with customers.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Technology proficiency and ability to operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Takes initiative in making thoughtful decisions.
  • Motivated and results-driven with a proven ability to set and achieve sales goals.
