We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in collecting blood and other laboratory specimens, logging them, and preparing them for testing. You will also be responsible for providing excellent patient service, explaining treatment procedures, and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens and log them for testing
- Explain treatment procedures and medications to patients
- Maintain patient confidentiality and complete medical records
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and procedures
- Respond to patient telephone messages and ensure patient paperwork is accurate
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- National Certification in Phlebotomy required (ASCP preferred)
- 1+ years of clinical Phlebotomy experience required without National Certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records
