Weekend Warrior RN or LPN Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at The Laurels of Athens. As a Weekend Warrior, you will provide skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation care to our valued guests on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7pm to 7am.

About the Role:

  • Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to guests.
  • Assess the health of guests and notify the physician of changes in status.
  • Contribute to the guest's assessment (MDS/CAA's) and the development of a plan of care.
  • Supervise the care/services provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)/State-Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) and other team members who care for guests.

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
  • CPR certification or acceptable exemption required.
