Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist II to join our team at Greeneville Community Hospital. As a key member of our Operating Room staff, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:

* Assist in nursing care and preparation of surgical patients by performing routine or delegated duties
* Set up sterile field with proper instrumentation related to the procedure
* Assist the surgeon during the case, counting sponges, sharps, and instruments in accordance with policy
* Assist with room turnover in an efficient manner at the end of all cases

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program or an LPN program required
* Experience of greater than six months as an LPN or ORT is preferred
* Valid and active surgical tech certification or LPN licensure in appropriate state preferred
* AHA BLS required

Work Requirements:

* Shift: Day
* On Call: No
* Weekends: Rotating
* Travel Required: No Travel
