Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Specialist to join our team at Illes Foods. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness in our processing equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of processing equipment to control bacteria count readings below specified levels.
  • Assist in maintaining the sanitation level of facilities and equipment at inspection-ready levels at all times.
  • Take inventory of sanitation supplies and maintain a safe and orderly work area according to GMP and Safety guidelines.
  • Operate forklifts, floor cleaning equipment, and other necessary equipment to perform assigned duties.
  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed, and recommend opportunities for continuous program improvement.
Requirements
  • High School Degree or equivalent.
  • 1 year sanitation experience required, CIP system experience preferred.
  • Ability to think critically and read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to learn how to use a forklift, if not already certified.
Working Conditions

This position requires standing, walking, riding, carrying, twisting, bending, balancing, seeing, hearing, and handling equipment. You will be lifting objects weighing from less than 20 lbs. to 60 lbs. and occasionally pushing, sitting, touching, reaching, climbing, pulling, and gripping.
