We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to provide support to our pharmacists in our inpatient pharmacy operations. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and compound medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
  • Deliver medications to patient areas and return unused medications to the pharmacy.
  • Document pharmaceutical activities, including patient billing and quality control requirements.
  • Respond to customer requests for assistance with pharmacy services.
  • Operate and maintain automated dispensing technology.
  • Order, receive, and stock inventory, and manage expiration dates.
  • Contribute to process improvement projects.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance in medication storage areas.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a pharmacy technician training program preferred.
  • Active pharmacy technician registration with the NC Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire.
  • Pharmacy technician certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) within 24 months of hire.
  • Prior pharmacy technician experience preferred.
