Boiler Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Verano. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

• Provide technical support to the maintenance department and ensure that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained and repaired.
• Assist in the training of new hires and ensure that all team members are aware of departmental processes and procedures.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists to ensure that all maintenance tasks are up to date.
• Troubleshoot minor maintenance issues and ensure that all electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems are functioning properly.
• Report all maintenance issues to the maintenance manager and maintain a record of scheduled maintenance procedures.
• Perform custodial functions to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Assist with the management of outside contractors and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
• Monitor and maintain quality control measures in accordance with state and local laws.
• Adhere to company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

• One (1) year experience working in maintenance within a production facility.
• General knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and/or plumbing required.
• Intermediate knowledge of mechanical equipment repair.
• Able to follow detailed instruction and capable of performing repetitive tasks.
• Must have a positive attitude and work well with others in a team environment.
• Willing to learn about, operate, and maintain facility equipment in a safe manner.
• Comfortable with heights, soil and water, and tight spaces.
• Ability to safely climb, squat, bend, twist, kneel and stand for at least 8 hours per day, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and able to successfully register with the state's cannabis commission as an agent.
• Must comply with all laws, regulations, and policies associated with the industry.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.

The work environment is a warehouse setting with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The noise level is usually moderate.
