Nursing Attendant Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician
  • Assist with vital signs, medication administration, and other clinical tasks as assigned
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and activities
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive work environment
Requirements:
  • Minimum one year experience as a Nursing Attendant in an acute hospital setting
  • Current enrollment in an approved RN or LVN program may be substituted for 1 year of experience
  • State Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a Nursing Attendant course required
  • Basic Life Support certification required
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
