**Job Summary**

UCHealth is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing sonography procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform sonography procedures on patients, ensuring high-quality images and accurate diagnoses.
  • Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure patient understanding and cooperation.
  • Prepare equipment and supplies, implementing safety standards and performing quality control procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions, reporting issues as necessary.
  • Analyze results, identifying issues with imaging quality and taking corrective action.
  • Work with Radiology students, providing guidance and support.

**Requirements**

  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
  • Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
