Job Description

Mazak CNC Lathe Operator Summary:


As a skilled Mazak CNC Lathe Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC Mazak turning centers. Your primary goal will be to produce high-quality parts while ensuring efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Program CNC Mazak Lathes from reading and interpreting blueprints.
  2. Set up and run Lathe applications that include soft turning, hard turning, threading, and center work (I.D. boring).
  3. Inspect manufactured parts and edit programs or adjust offsets and tooling to meet print requirements.
  4. Understand standard and geometric tolerances on blueprints.
  5. Set up and use precision bore gages, OD snaps, micrometers, indicators, and gage block set-ups.

Requirements:

Work overtime when necessary.

Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts.
