Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Kingman Regional Medical Center. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in our hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret physician prescriptions and medication orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a drug information resource to patients, medical staff, and other department personnel, providing expert guidance on medication use and safety.
  • Compound and dispense prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals, maintaining accurate records and adhering to quality control standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation, labeling, and dispensing of drugs and pharmaceutical supplies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Train new personnel and assist in staff and patient education programs, promoting a culture of excellence and patient safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a Bachelor of Science Pharmacy or Pharmacy Doctorate Degree.
  • Currently licensed in the State of Arizona, or eligible for licensure.
  • Two years of hospital pharmacy experience in a small to medium size hospital, with a strong background in clinical pharmacy practice.
