Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team at Marriott International Inc. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, providing exceptional service to our guests, and contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and needs, providing a high level of service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues or concerns in public areas or guest rooms, taking proactive steps to prevent accidents and ensure guest safety.
  • Deliver guest requests and set up furniture items in guest rooms as requested, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for our guests.
  • Remove items from hallways and transport them to service areas, including debris, room service food and beverage trays, unread newspapers, soiled linens, and trash.
  • Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and meets our high standards.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 55 pounds, as well as push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery.
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods, as well as move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; related work experience and supervisory experience a plus.
