About the Role
As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting the Director, Medical Director, and Physicist in directing all aspects of care provided by the Medical Imaging Department. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the highest level of patient care, and you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the operation of medical imaging equipment, including ultrasound machines, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques to provide the highest level of patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited ARRT program or Ultrasound Program.
- Three years of experience in a hospital-imaging department preferred.
