Summer Camp Nurse Opportunity

A reputable summer camp in Fairfield County, CT seeks a Registered Nurse to provide medical care to campers during the day camp program.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide first aid and medical attention to campers as needed.
  • Log all treatments in a bound medical log and maintain individual medication records.
  • Store medications securely and follow proper labeling and storage procedures.
  • Receive phone calls and relay messages to staff members.
  • Perform other duties as instructed by the Day Camp Director.
Requirements:
  • Valid Connecticut Registered Nursing License.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Prior experience in a day camp environment is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work well with children, parents, and staff.
