Position Title: Healthcare Reception Specialist

Compensation: $20.00 per hour

Role Summary:

We are seeking a part-time Healthcare Reception Specialist for our medical clinic. The specialist will play a vital role in managing patient information, scheduling medical appointments, and communicating with patients via phone on behalf of Sea Mar. Responsibilities include taking messages and addressing patient inquiries. The ideal candidate should possess problem-solving abilities and demonstrate effective communication skills, ensuring sensitivity to patient needs. A strong work ethic, professionalism, and the ability to multitask while utilizing basic office software are essential. Bilingual candidates in English and Spanish are highly preferred.

Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in a healthcare environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel, and typing skills are necessary.
  • Exceptional verbal, customer service, and written communication skills are essential.
  • Strong organizational skills are a must.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but not mandatory.
