Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Medication Treatment Nurse to provide high-quality care to our residents. As a Medication Treatment Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and evaluating resident care, receiving and recording physicians' orders, and administering medications as prescribed.

Responsibilities:
  • Meet with nursing assistants to assess, plan, and evaluate resident care
  • Receive and record physicians' orders
  • Provide feedback to Charge Nurse regarding performance of nursing assistants
  • Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge of residents
  • Make rounds with physicians and other team members as needed
  • Assess residents and participate in development, implementation, and evaluation of residents' care plans
  • Prepare and administer medications as prescribed and identify and promptly communicate adverse drug reactions
  • Maintain narcotic records accurately and arrange for ordering of pharmaceuticals
Requirements:
  • Washington State LPN License (Required)
  • CPR certification (Required)
  • Continuing education for gerontological and/or long-term care nursing preferred
