- Assist individuals with making purchases, safeguarding personal allowance funds and additional funds provided.
- Manage crisis situations, providing calm and effective support to individuals in need.
- A High School Diploma or GED is preferred; some college is a plus.
- Work or life experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Ability to support individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
- Basic written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Valid NY State Driver's License may be required depending on the position.
- Tuberculosis test mandatory for most positions.
- Interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to take initiative and adapt to changing circumstances.
