  • Apply foundational teaching skills, including EMOE, Task Analysis, Essential Skills, Supports, and Modifications, to enhance the lives of those we support.
  • Assist individuals with making purchases, safeguarding personal allowance funds and additional funds provided.
  • Manage crisis situations, providing calm and effective support to individuals in need.
Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or GED is preferred; some college is a plus.
  • Work or life experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities is a plus.
  • Ability to support individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Valid NY State Driver's License may be required depending on the position.
  • Tuberculosis test mandatory for most positions.
