Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Sam's Club in Kentwood, MI. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting our pharmacists in the prescription fulfillment process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process prescriptions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist pharmacists with prescription filling, inventory management, and other tasks as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on pharmacy procedures and regulations.

Requirements

  • Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, including minimum age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure when required by the State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Obtains National Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT) within 9 months of job entry.
