Urodynamic Technician

The Urodynamic Technician at Minnesota Urology P.A. plays a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. Key responsibilities include performing urodynamic testing, patient education, and assisting with research studies. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in urology and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for routine urodynamic testing, including catheterization to prevent infections.
• Assist the physician during video urodynamics and provide direct patient care.
• Help interpret urodynamic studies and assist with additional procedures, such as cystoscopy, bladder ultrasound, and catheterization.
• Perform simple urinalysis, including specimen collection and handling.
• Provide education to patients and maintain urodynamic equipment.
• Assist with research studies under the direction of the Research Coordinator.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Training in urodynamics.
• Graduate of an accredited program for LPNs or Medical Assistants.
