Encore Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Evening Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents while ensuring the highest level of quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Complete admission and readmission processes, including documentation and communication with healthcare teams.
- Perform rounds with physicians and/or Nurse Practitioners, assisting with signing off telephone orders and reviewing medication administration.
- Assist nurses with incidents, emergencies, and other tasks as needed to ensure quality care.
- Chart and document resident information, including medication administration and special procedures.
- Supervise meal service, ensuring each resident receives adequate nutrition.
- Continuously assess and reassess residents for risk of complications, documenting observations and incidents.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and resident care.
- Provide in-services for assigned staff, promoting knowledge and skills development.
- Maintain a clean and organized nurse's station, medication room, and ancillary areas.
- Demonstrated leadership and managerial ability, with a focus on quality care and resident satisfaction.
- Ability to organize, plan, and supervise care, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
- Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
