Job Title
Senior Data Scientist, Fractal Inc.


We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our team at Fractal Inc. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for developing data-driven solutions that drive business growth and innovation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy data products and services that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  3. Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and patterns.
  4. Communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest data science technologies and methodologies.


Requirements:

  • 8-12 years of experience in data science, performance marketing analytics, web analytics, eCommerce or digital marketing.
  • Highly proficient in programming languages and stats packages (Python/R), scripting languages (SQL), and familiarity with Product Analytics tools (ex. Adobe analytics).
  • Experience in customer segmentation, propensity modeling, targeting and personalization.
  • Experience in churn prediction to identify customers who are likely to stop using the service or making purchases, Customer Lifetime value development, and Market Basket analysis to understand which products are frequently bought together.
  • Experience building recommendation systems based on previous purchase behavior.
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization, customer journey mapping, and experimental design and causal inference.
  • Experience with matched market testing, and dynamic optimization methods.
  • Strong fluency in translating complex data into crisp insights, actions and recommendations.
  • Ability to influence business decisions and utilizing data at the leadership level.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and end-to-end quantitative thinking.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlines.
  • Outstanding communications skills with both technical and non-technical leaders and colleagues.


Education:


BA or BS degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Finance, Advanced Analytics, or a relevant field.


Mandatory Skills:

  • Data Science, AI/ML, Customer Analytics, Marketing Measurement, Web Analytics, eCommerce or Digital Marketing.


Pay:


The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.


The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.


At Fractal Inc., it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.


A reasonable estimate of the current range is:
$90,000 to $130,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus for the current performance period.


Benefits:


As a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time.


You will be eligible for benefits on the first day of employment with the Company.


In addition, you are eligible to participate in the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of employment, in accordance with the applicable plan terms.


The Company provides for 11 paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave.


We also follow a "free time" PTO policy, allowing you the flexibility to take the time needed for either sick time or vacation.
