Roles and Responsibilities As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Headlight, you'll be responsible for: • Diagnosing and treating mental health and emotional disorders • Offering individual and group therapy to patients • Prescribing and monitoring medications when necessary • Maintaining detailed records of patient visits and progress • Assisting in the development of individualized treatment plans • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient continuity of care • Educating patients and families about mental health and emotional disorders • Participating in community outreach and education Qualifications We're looking for experienced clinicians who possess a Master's degree in Nursing, with a specialty in Psychiatric Nursing, and are board certified via ANCC or AANP. You'll also need to have valid state licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and an active DEA in the state where you'll be practicing.
