Job Summary

At Price Family Dealerships, we're looking for a skilled Lube Technician to join our team. As a Lube Technician, you will perform maintenance, inspections, and tire pressure checks on customer vehicles according to our dealership's and factory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct oil and filter services efficiently and accurately within 45 minutes.
  • Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify any safety or service work needed.
  • Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain necessary parts and ensure accurate billing.
  • Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in training programs to stay up-to-date on assigned training.
  • Report any machinery defects or malfunctions to the Service Manager.
  • Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean and notify the Service Manager of any changes in the vehicle's appearance or condition.
  • Keep the shop area neat and clean, and maintain all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
  • Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations, such as Bureau of Automotive Repair rules and regulations.
  • Operate tools and equipment safely and report any safety issues to the Service Manager.


Requirements:
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must have a good driving record.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must have basic knowledge of tools and cars.
  • Must be willing to learn and adapt to new situations.


Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to drive and operate a vehicle.
  • Must be able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.


Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to work in an outdoor environment.
  • Must be able to drive vehicles of varying sizes.
  • May be required to work in noisy environments and inclement weather conditions.
