Dietary Assistant

At Lakeside Special Care Center, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dietary Aide/Dishwasher to join our team.

The primary role of the Dietary Aide/Dishwasher is to provide assistance in all food functions as directed and in accordance with established food policies and procedures.

The essential duties include assisting in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, maintaining the care and use of supplies, equipment, and the appearance of work areas, and performing regular inspections of food service areas for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties.

• Assist in food preparation and presentation
• Maintain a clean and safe food service environment
• Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain dishroom cleanliness
• Restock supplies and equipment as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
