**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Equine Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for horse health and welfare, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct routine health examinations, vaccinations, and dental care for horses
  • Diagnose and treat various equine diseases and conditions
  • Perform surgical procedures, including routine and emergency surgeries
  • Provide emergency care and after-hours support
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Educate horse owners on proper care and prevention of common equine health problems
  • Collaborate with other veterinary professionals and staff members

**Qualifications:**

  • DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school
  • Valid California veterinary license
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an equine veterinarian
  • Strong knowledge of equine anatomy, physiology, and disease
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for horse health and welfare

**Compensation and Benefits:**

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and continuing education in a supportive and collaborative work environment.
