Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our physical therapists to provide high-quality care and support to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with physical therapy treatments, including exercises, modalities, and patient education.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes
  • Implement exercise programs and modalities as directed by physical therapists
  • Provide patient education on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and home programs
  • Document patient progress and communicate with physical therapists and other healthcare team members
  • Participate in patient care conferences and contribute to the development of patient care plans
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice
  • At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant (preferred)
  • Complies and maintains current CPR certification
  • Ability to make home visits and provide nursing care in the home environment
  • Must have reliable transportation, current driver's license, and appropriate automobile insurance
