Department Overview

The LHS Radiology team is a vibrant group that collaborates closely with patients, healthcare providers, and various departments to ensure optimal patient care.

Role Mission

The primary objective of this position is to conduct high-quality diagnostic studies and procedures to assist in the interpretation of medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and procedures.
• Engage professionally with patients and healthcare staff.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to complete tasks.
• Process imaging and report requests efficiently.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage department communications.
• Utilize critical thinking skills in a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

• A degree from an accredited ultrasound program (minimum 24-month course) or be a recent graduate awaiting board examination.
• Current registration with the ARDMS or plans to obtain it.
• Commitment to maintaining continuing education credits as required by the ARDMS.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with physicians and patients.
• Basic computer proficiency, with knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, PACS, and EPIC is advantageous.
