The Store Associate role is a key position within our retail team, responsible for supporting the store management team in upholding company policies and operational processes. Primary duties include driving daily sales and profit results to meet/exceed budget, managing inventory accuracy, and enhancing customer loyalty.
Key Responsibilities- Merchandising and Sales: Review the sales floor daily for merchandising opportunities and motivate staff to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure all company policies and processes are executed at a high level, supporting an environment of accountability and fairness.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and support, including stocking and unloading product shipments.
- Communication: Communicate any operational or customer issues to the management team and ensure a safe working environment.
- Interpretation and Analysis: Ability to interpret sales reporting data to improve store performance.
- Customer Focus: Strong desire to exceed expectations to achieve both personal and financial success.
- Communication and Teamwork: Exceptional customer service skills and interpersonal/communication skills.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and ability to learn quickly and be driven to excel.
- Physical Demands: Capable of lifting and transporting heavy tools (up to 50 lbs.) and requesting assistance as needed.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of various computer systems/software such as Point of Sale, OUTLOOK, EXCEL, and WORD.
- Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including outside of normal business operating hours.
