About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Nationwide Children's Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of improving the lives of children everywhere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain various imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and portable imaging units, to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
  • Perform imaging procedures in various sections of the hospital, including the Emergency Department and inpatient units, under the supervision of licensed practitioners.
  • Review, send, and verify images sent to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) for radiologist interpretation, and consult with radiologists as needed.
  • Administer contrast media under the direct supervision of licensed practitioners and document information on the medication administration record (MAR).
  • Modify orders to reflect appropriate procedures based on clinical questions, symptoms, and patient history, in accordance with established protocols.
  • Assist in the orientation and training of new employees and students, and provide guidance and support in student education.
  • Maintain knowledge of current applications in radiology and comply with regulatory guidelines and policies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited educational program for radiologic technology.
  • ARRT license required.
  • Current ODH license required.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
