NPI Engineer

As a seasoned NPI Engineer, you will lead the introduction of new products by overseeing design and development, materials testing, and preparation of specifications. You will collaborate with customer technical personnel to define producible and cost-effective solutions. Your expertise in manufacturing process engineering will be essential in investigating and addressing manufacturing issues, including those related to inspection and testing. Additionally, you will develop and refine operating equipment specifications, improve manufacturing techniques, and integrate new process equipment. Your strong understanding of concepts in the field of engineering will be valuable in working with design teams to ensure process and design compatibility. You will also review and implement engineering changes, and provide technical support to production planning and engineering teams. Furthermore, you will recommend product and process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency. Your excellent communication and organizational skills will be essential in preparing engineering schematics, parts lists, and facilitating manufacturing planning. You will analyze production practices, recommend production methods, and lead product or process improvement initiatives. Your ability to ensure timely and efficient delivery on commitments will be critical to the success of this role.
