We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse - Oncology to join our team at Parkland Medical Center. As an Oncology Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians in performing nurse procedures for the comfort and well-being of patients.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including medical histories, lab and diagnostic requests, and treatment plans.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
- Manage medical records and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Licensure by State of NH as a Registered Nurse.
- Graduate of an approved RN program.
- Current AHA or ARC BCLS.
- Experience in an MD office.
- Computer literate.
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate within 90 days of hire.
- Preferred: Six months' experience as an RN in Oncology.
- Phlebotomy skills preferred but will train after hire.
