Astrophysics Educator

Education Unlimited is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Astrophysics instructor to join our team of educators.

We are looking for a skilled and passionate educator to teach our Astrophysics course to middle school students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in astrophysics and experience working with students in an academic setting.

• Teach the Education Unlimited Astrophysics curriculum to middle school students
• Supervise students during classroom and lab activities
• Organize and lead classroom labs and activities
• Execute a finale showcasing student work at the end of the course
• Track student progress and hand in deliverables to the camp director and EU home office

• 2+ years' experience teaching astrophysics or significant subject matter knowledge
• Experience working with middle or high school-age students in an academic setting preferred
• A passion for science education
• A calm and professional demeanor
• Self-motivation and follow-through
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Housing, meals, travel, and salary will be provided
• Average class size of 10 students
