The Rizzo Companies is looking for a dedicated Fleet Mechanic to join our team in a full-time capacity. The Fleet Mechanic will be tasked with executing scheduled maintenance and essential repairs on a variety of vehicles including cars, trucks (both light and heavy), trailers, vans, and forklifts as assigned by the management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address the maintenance needs of diverse fleet vehicles.
- Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on all fleet machinery.
- Ensure a safe, organized, and tidy working environment.
- Accurately input data in a timely manner.
- Manage parts ordering and inventory through the purchasing department.
- Comply with OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulatory standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in preventative maintenance, electrical systems, suspension, brakes, drive trains, diesel engines, and hydraulic systems.
- A CDL driver's license is advantageous.
Salary will be determined based on experience.
