Overview:
This role encompasses physician leadership for all dimensions of the healthcare facility.

The individual will oversee all services and systems necessary for a structured, multidisciplinary team approach aimed at delivering the highest standard of patient care.

This position is pivotal in upholding established patient care standards and protocols through ongoing quality enhancement and comprehensive quality management initiatives within the facility.


Essential Qualifications:
Must possess a valid medical license in the state of practice;
Must have successfully completed credentialing through the Medical Staff Services of the facility.

Core Competencies:
Proficient in executing technical skills in line with credentialed competencies as dictated by Medical Staff policy;
Aids in the formulation of marketing strategies and initiatives;
Provides guidance and support in the development, administration, and execution of both annual and long-term business strategies;
Offers financial services, including, but not limited to, collaborating with the Department's management team on oversight of accounting, reporting, and control protocols;
Establishes and ensures the effective implementation of financial planning and control systems at all levels, utilizing insights from these systems to accurately assess, plan, and manage the Department's financial operations;
Engages in evaluating the quality of care delivered by the Department and collaborates in the hospital's quality assurance program to monitor the quality and outcomes of care provided by staff;
Supports the Department's management team in crafting, reviewing, and executing departmental policies and procedures;
Actively participates in committee or team assignments concerning the clinic's services;
Communicates with the medical staff and associated departments regarding issues that require their attention;
Keeps the administrative liaison informed of medical staff matters related to the clinic.

Language and Communication Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both in written and verbal forms;
Ability to communicate effectively in emergency situations;
Establishes and maintains a positive marketing relationship with physicians and organizations to ensure effective communication, coordination, and funding for the clinic;
Collaborates with the medical staff of the clinic and hospital to determine outcome indicators for the provision of quality care and monitors those appropriately;
Identifies and addresses issues impacting members of the medical staff;
Maintains positive relations with members of the medical staff.
