Senior Accounting Specialist

Creative Financial Staffing is in search of a talented Senior Accounting Specialist who excels in overseeing the financial close process, executing reconciliations, managing journal entries, and supporting monthly financial closings. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, along with proficiency in Sage Intacct.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accounting Specialist:

  • Input all customer and vendor invoices into the accounting system.
  • Reconcile all bank accounts and manage inventory assets within the accounting system.
  • Generate comprehensive financial statements.
  • Thoroughly review all financial statements for accuracy.
  • Facilitate the closing of financial periods in the accounting system.
  • Distribute finalized financial statements to relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare for subsequent financial closings.

Qualifications for the Senior Accounting Specialist:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in senior accounting positions, particularly with a focus on the closing process.
  • Familiarity with Sage Intacct software is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
