Job Summary:

As a skilled MRI Technologist at St Michael Medical Center, you will play a critical role in capturing high-quality diagnostic images to aid in patient diagnosis. Your expertise will include operating MRI equipment safely and accurately, positioning patients correctly, recording diagnostic images, and sending results to physicians for evaluation and diagnosis.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing equipment for imaging tests based on physician orders and adhering to department safeguards and protocols to ensure quality results
  • Preparing patients and performing MRI procedures
  • Maintaining records and logs as required by department protocols and licensure requirements
  • Performing incidental general office duties, including answering phones, scheduling, filing, maintaining patient records, and ordering supplies

Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology is required. Additionally, certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) is mandatory, along with State of Washington Certification as a Radiological Technologist. ARRT MRI Certification is preferred, and current healthcare provider BLS Certification is also required.
