**About the Job:**

* Supervise and coordinate the work activities of professional and technical staff in the Med Surg department
* Organize and coordinate activities, assign responsibilities, and provide direction and motivation to assigned personnel
* Monitor and evaluate systems and processes, initiating changes and improvements as needed
* Ensure quality assurance standards are followed
* Collaborate with administration, medical staff, and other departments to coordinate efforts and meet special needs
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives

**Requirements:**

* FL RN License
* BLS and ACLS Certifications
* Minimum Two (2) years' experience in an acute care setting
