Museum Maintenance Specialist (Part-Time)

This part-time position involves ensuring cleanliness and upkeep across various public and private areas of our renowned venues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness in non-historic public and private areas.
• Service offices, dining, and retail spaces, as well as restrooms.
• Oversee the upkeep of event spaces, including ballrooms and conference rooms.
• Ensure cleanliness in educational facilities, including classrooms and laboratories.

Tasks include:

• Removing waste and debris from all designated areas.
• Performing dry and wet mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing.
• Disinfecting surfaces and restocking necessary supplies.
• Assisting with room setups for events as needed.

Team Collaboration:

Contribute to effective team dynamics by addressing challenges and opportunities collaboratively. Act as a supportive team member, sharing expertise and fostering a positive work environment.

Your Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in janitorial or custodial roles.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Familiarity with basic cleaning techniques.
• Proficiency in operating motorized cleaning equipment.
