Position Overview

Ochsner Children's is actively seeking a full-time, board-certified or eligible Pediatrician to deliver pediatric acute care within our facilities. This role is pivotal in the greater New Orleans area, where we provide a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive salary structure, including a two-year salary guarantee and potential for productivity bonuses.

Our Pediatric Program

Our Pediatrics Program is a robust network comprising over 230 physicians, including primary care pediatricians and specialized pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists. We are recognized as the leading integrated provider of multispecialty care for patients ranging from newborns to young adults. Our services encompass a full spectrum of pediatric complex specialty care, including but not limited to:

  • Congenital heart surgery and cardiac transplantation
  • Liver and bone marrow transplantation
  • A comprehensive surgical subspecialty group
  • The region's only multidisciplinary developmental center

Facilities and Resources

We currently operate a 67-bed Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a 14-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, a 12-bed pediatric cardiovascular intensive care unit, and a 44-bed pediatric acute care unit, complemented by a dedicated pediatric emergency room and in-house pediatric and neonatal transport teams.

In addition to providing exceptional patient care, Ochsner Children's Hospital hosts an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency program, contributing to the education of pediatric residents and medical students from esteemed institutions.
