Department Details:
The hours for this position are from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, with a rotation every other weekend and holiday. An 8-hour shift is also an option. Our facility offers a welcoming community with both assisted living and independent living services, alongside inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation.

Job Summary:
The Nursing Assistant (NA) is responsible for delivering resident-centered care and assisting with daily living activities under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). This role requires knowledge of age-appropriate care tailored to the physical and psychological needs of residents as outlined in their care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with essential health care needs, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and obtaining vital signs.
- Support residents in mobility and physical activities, ensuring correct transfer techniques are used.
- Assist with meal preparation and create a positive dining experience.
- Document resident interactions and communicate any changes in condition to the charge nurse.
- Participate in wellness and recreational programs, encouraging resident engagement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Previous experience in long-term care is advantageous.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, or enrollment in a training program to obtain certification.
Additional Information:
- Maintain all required certifications and complete annual continuing education.
- May require a valid driver’s license and a motor vehicle report depending on responsibilities.
