About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Medical Surgical Unit at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, evidence-based care to patients, including administering medications, performing lab and procedural tests, and documenting patient information.
- Assist with procedures, monitoring, and other functions as directed by the RN or physician.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition of care.
- Collaborate with the care team to identify and address patient needs, and implement interventions to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state of Tennessee.
- IV Certification (LPN IV) required within 60 months of employment start date.
