Job Summary
The Respiratory Therapist provides critical care services to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients, administering airway management, nebulized medications, and oxygen therapy under physician orders. This role requires effective communication with the healthcare team and evaluation of therapy effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Administer airway management, nebulized medications, and oxygen therapy under physician orders
- Provide critical care services to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
- Evaluate therapy effectiveness and communicate with the healthcare team
- Implement and plan therapy according to patient needs
Requirements
- 1 year of clinical experience in respiratory therapy (preferred)
- Associate's degree in respiratory therapy (required)
- NC Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure (required)
- Basic Life Support certification (required)
- Certified Respiratory Therapist certification (required within 6 months of program completion)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist certification (required within 12 months of program completion)
Work Schedule
7a-7p, with every third weekend and call requirements.
