School Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team in Creston, CA. This itinerant position involves working with students in grades 6-8, high school grade levels, and ages 18-22.

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs).
• Provide counseling and mental health services to students, including individual and group therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create supportive learning environments and promote student success.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and plan for student needs, and monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
• Apply Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques in developing behavioral interventions and stay current with research and best practices in the field of school psychology.

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised internship in school psychology.
• State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in California.
• National Certification in School Psychology (NCSP) is preferred but not required.
• Candidates not holding a BCBA must have extensive ABA experience.

• Successful criminal background clearance.
• Successful and/or clear drug screening.
• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to hire.
