Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at Childress Healthcare Center. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with nursing standards and regulations.
  • Supervise Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) staff in the delivery of direct resident care.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing and currently licensed by the state.
  • Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
  • Capable of maintaining regular attendance.
  • Ability to supervise other employees and work cooperatively to achieve resident care objectives.
  • Meet all local health regulations and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment.
  • Physical and sensory requirements include walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, ability to hear and respond to pages, ability to distinguish smells, tastes, and temperatures, ability to read and write, and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • BLS certification.
