About the Role

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist Level II to join our team. As a key member of the surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the surgical team in preparing the operating room for procedures, including setting up equipment and instruments.
  • Maintain a sterile environment during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety of patients and staff.
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgical team, providing timely and efficient support during procedures.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the successful completion of procedures.
  • Participate in the cleaning and decontamination of surgical instruments and equipment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
