We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neurologist to join our team at Evans Army Community Hospital located at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, CO. As a board-certified Physician-Neurologist, you will provide exceptional healthcare services to our U.S. military and their families.
Responsibilities- Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases and disorders of the nervous system.
- Provide outpatient services for patients as scheduled by the Government.
- Shall provide inpatient care.
- Provide immediate evaluation and management of emergency problems as they occur.
- Capable of performing lumbar punctures.
- Capable of performing and interpreting nerve conduction studies and electromyography.
- Capable of performing evoked potentials and electroencephalograms.
- Capable of providing chemo denervation (such as botulinum toxin injections) for common neurological conditions.
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree.
- Successful completion of ACGME-approved Neurology Medical Residency.
- Current board certification in adult Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry (ABPN).
- At least 24 months of neurology experience within the last 36 months.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advance Life Support (ALS) certifications through American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
- Competitive compensation.
